The G8 GT appears in its first parade tomorrow. Runs great, 51,000 miles, never any problems, but can you think of anything I should do to prepare her for a s l o w 3-mile long crawl in 90°+ heat?

It’s not an old muscle car or Italian vehicle - it’ll be fine.

Replace the radiator with an ice-bath barrel, and remove the hood to fit. #NoKillLikeOverkill

Deflate the tires all the way, this will help with the slow pace. Disconnect your AC for maximum comfort. If it’s manual transmission you’ll want to use 6th gear the entire time.
Have fun!

If one has an Iso Grifo, however, it being both of those things, you would need to swath it in blankets and dry ice. In New Hampshire.

Do donuts every half mile. Keeps the plugs clean. :)

Just turn the heat on full with the windows down. Any (car) overheating issues will never come to be.

A 200 shot of nitrous will cool it down if that’s an issue. Maybe attach a couple of those powerful fans to your intake too. I believe “turbocharger” and “supercharger” are different types of fans that'll help.

Parade was yesterday. 96° and no problems at all. I had the e-cutouts open the whole time and some throttle blips resulted in a lot of smiles. Gotta love a V8!
